In looking at the measurements for the Monitor 90p, after spending several hours doing them, I was struck by their exemplary nature. This could be called a textbook set of curves if any could, the closest to straight lines that I've seen in some time... extraordinary power and bass extension... it will play very loudly and cleanly... these speakers exhibited an unusual clarity and neutrality... The Monitor 90Ps have a very wide listening window, and are ideal for large, wide rooms... a remarkable reproducer especially for its price, with extrordinary imaging, a soundstage both wide and deep that you can listen right into. Its dynamic freedom and open ease of presentation are outstanding... Paradigm has always provided value for money in all their models but in the Monitor 90P they've really outdone themselves, producing a speaker that competes with most at twice the price.

stereo imaging was wide. Midrange frequencies were very well reproduced, with good presence, no aggressiveness or weakness... an impressive SPL and sense of realism... affordable, powerful, musical speakers.

A 5.5-inch surround with carbon-infused polypropylene cone with a larger PPA lens handles the midrange frequency driver, and two 5.5-inch ART surround polypropylene cones provide the bottom end.
