Founder Floorstanding Speakers include Advanced Shock-Mount™ Feet which decouple the cabinet from the floor, not just once, but twice, for extremely effective vibration decoupling. Interchangeable hardware is included for both carpet and hard surfaces. The feet can be adjusted from above to level the cabinet with ease.

The Founder Series midrange and bass drivers are mechanically decoupled from the front baffle by our Advanced SHOCK-MOUNT™ Isolation Mounting System. This special mounting hardware uses an elastomer suspension to prevent any transfer of vibration from the driver to the cabinet, and from the cabinet to the driver. By eliminating resonance, the driver is free to render sound purely and efficiently with no audible distortion and maximum clarity.

Cascade-Fusion Bracing

Cascade-Fusion Bracing inside Founder Series’ faceted cabinets increase rigidity and break up standing low-frequency waves. This delivers much tighter bass with greater clarity and accuracy. All bracing is extensively reinforced, making the cabinet into a monolith stronger than the sum of its parts. The inherent strength of the geometric cabinet profile distributes the load points across a larger cabinet area providing greater support and rigidity than can be achieved with traditional square cabinet geometry.

Proudly Crafted in Canada

The Founder Series is completely designed, engineered, and built at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility just outside of Toronto, Canada. It's made by people who love great audio (just like you). From the hand-chosen, specially engineered components and materials, to the precise workmanship of the non-resonant cabinets with their beautiful premium-grade finishes, Founder Series is truly hand-built for performance. Sure, we could say "Made in Canada," or "Manufactured in Canada." But we believe that building loudspeakers is an art. Everyone at Paradigm shares a passion for crafting speakers, and it's from this intense passion that "Crafted in Canada" was proudly born.

After years of patience. I find that these speakers punch well above their weight. I used to own Studio 100 v.2 and 20s v.2. The 20s I just sold this last week. These had stereophile in disbelief. At a time when Mirage was loosing it's way and the M1s were just a figment of the past, these stood the test of time. I just had Atlas Audio deliver them after they had them in their audiophile room for 20 minutes. I said. I will buy them now. I like the Personas, but these sound more lively. I do enjoy excellent audio as I've been classically trained since 4 years of age. For my mains, I run Focal Nova Utopia Bes. I find the Personas not quite like the big focals; however, for dollar value... These Founder 120h will punch well into that territory. I paired them with a new NAD M33. I found these lively and 3 dimensional. I replaced my kitchen speakers with these with no questions asked. Given the pricing and the fact that they return to Paradigm's roots of value and performance... It's just a simple yes let's take them away... immediately. I was saying to my friends at Atlas, of which I have purchased many decent systems... These make sense to me. I find some stereos now are like my photographic passion... You can spend 15000 on a Canon Lens, some of which I have... but then, I left Canon for Sony and Fujifilm as the lenses are too clinical. The same goes with some speakers nowadays. You can have perfect specs and have no soul. You can have the most perfect photograph... and it looks stale with no character. I can adapt some old vintage Pentax lenses that aren't optically perfect but the bokeh blows away modern glass. You'll get vignetting and some chromatic aberration, but you'll get a look that gives character, passion and soul. You can get perfection at the sacrifice of soul and passion. Think Kaizen... continuous improvement leads to perfection, but also... frustration. If you have achieved perfection, what's left?
