I have a high-end HDD player that streams, but does not do Tidal. I picked up this unit specifically to use Tidal and was not disappointed. It was easy to set up and performs perfectly. I did get much better sound after running ARC. Before, it was a little light on the top end. Running room correction made it perfect. This would also work well to add room correction to a receiver or pre-amp that doesn't have it built in. For the price, it's a steal!
