Paradigm has remained in the loudspeaker performance/value forefront for decades, a position that's not going to change with the Monitor Series 7...the Paradigm system reviewed here is ridiculously good... it delivers natural tonal balance, serious bass extension, impressively clean dynamic range and transient punch, and tight, stable imaging in generous, well-balanced measure, with cosmetics and fit'n'finish that will satisfy most and should offend none. Unhesitatingly recommended.

The Paradigm subwoofer produced deep, visceral bass that engaged the viewer in the story... Bass never sounded heavy or boomy, just low and tight with good extension and depth. It's one of the best subs I've heard in my system. While listening to stereo music, the DSP-3200 outperformed many of the subwoofers I've used in my system... The Paradigm DSP-3200 is one of the best subwoofers I've tested. With solid, extended bass response... you can't ask for much more. It's a great value for a stereo or home theater system.

...the sub kept up with numerous thumping blows...The PBK-equalized bass in both music and effects was deep and solid. As my notes remind me, 'Even a synthetic beat has an aesthetic about it."... The PBK-perfected sub contributed tunefully to the bass clarinet's bottom end. It also kept Ron Carter's string bass lines even and in correct proportion, with no booming or rolled-off notes.

A 5.5-inch surround with carbon-infused polypropylene cone with a larger PPA lens handles the midrange frequency driver, and two 5.5-inch ART surround polypropylene cones provide the bottom end.
