In-wall chassis on this new generation of speakers have been redesigned to match their in-ceiling counterparts, boasting deeper ribbing and further recessed grilles. The result? That crucial area around the mounting hole is further strengthened and reinforced, not only enhancing wall rigidity but reducing the opportunities for unwanted resonances and distortion to color sound. |

The two-sided circuit boards meet stringent FR-4 military specifications and boast top-of-the-line component parts: metallized polypropylene film capacitors at crucial points, high-power ceramic resistors, improved Low-R steel/air-core inductors. 14-gauge wire or better (selected models) and new proprietary Posi-Grip™ binding posts.
